Just back from a few days staying at the De Vere, Sandford on Thames. Excellent hotel, comfy deluxe double, delicious breakfast with great choice of food. Helpful staff on reception suggested taking the bus, from just outside the hotel, in to Oxford. 15 mins and we were in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The reception staff are excellent and set the tone for a great stay. We enjoyed our overnight stay and found the hotel to be extremely inviting and comfortable with the refurbishment to date being of a very high standard. There are works still going on to add further eateries, bedrooms and an outside courtyard area to the hotel which will create stunning facilities.

Reception staff extremely polite and helpful. Went out of way to help, lending us a phone charger.
Would stay again next visit.
Minor thing - tea and coffee were hiding in the cupboard ! Odd place to keep them.
