"The Castle hotel has a great location, and parking at the hotel. We had a room with a view of Castell Conwy. The historic hotel had great atmosphere, food, and drink. If I ever go back, I would stay there again. Wonderful staff, too!"

"WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was superb quality made from local produce. One of the owners Rachel, sat and chatted with us after breakfast about the local area and the pub itself, which was really nice as she were preparing for a very busy Father's Day carvery afternoon and evening Its definitely a place we will return too stay and also to eat... I would recommend highly to anyone "
