Golden Jubilee Hotel

"We had a deluxe double room booked and when we got to room 332 found that we had a huge room with separate lounge, two en-suites and two TV’s. The bathrooms were immaculate and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t book breakfast because we didn’t want one both days but we did for our second morning. For £12:50 each it was excellent. We also ate in the bar restaurant both nights and it was great value and well cooked and served. A strange hotel because it’s actually linked to the hospital but that didn’t spoil anything. Parking can be difficult early morning - even though there are almost 300 spaces. We had no problem when we arrived at 5:30pm. Big shout to all the staff - excellent all round! All in all we would definitely recommend for a short stay."
Stirling Court Hotel

"The Stirling Court hotel on the university of Stirling Campus was a quiet location. It was a good restaurant even if some of the staff seem rather brusque because we were late . I had left without my phone to walk round the loch so was unable to call them. I apologies several times but the person didn't hear she had broken record syndrome and just kept saying you should have called if you were going to be late. I almost gave your table away. I noted throughout the meal there were several empty tables so not clear who she was going to give the table to!! Apart from the restaurant incident it was a pleasant stay."

"Room was very dated and in need of refurbishment. The rest of the hotel was lovely, staff all very nice and helpful. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, was excellent."

"Nicely appointed room in pleasant hotel in good location. Some furniture a bit worn, some corners being cut. Main problem was lack of staff - they looked like they were being run off their feet."
Highland Gate, Stirling by Marston's Inns

"The Highland Gate pub was very nice and great atmosphere, food, drink and staff were good. The rooms were OK, bedding etc were all clean but problem we had was with the bathroom where there was a hole in the wall due to no door stop and the bath/shower vent had quite a bit of mould."

"Nice traditional type hotel, a little worn here and there but only adds to the charm. Had a recurring issue with the electronic door key which had to be repeatedly reset, but staff very efficient and helpful."
