"The cottage is cosy and warm and has all the necessary facilities to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the shower has good pressure, the beds are comfortable and the Netflix (and lots of other channels) worked well. The wifi reception isn’t super strong however it worked fine. There are lovely walks from the property and Neath is close by. There is comprehensive info on local shops, history and restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely big rooms, ate in the main restaurant the food was delicious with lots of variety, on the downside our room overlooked the main road opposite the pubs and the noise was deafening, stopped around 3am.final verdict is lovely rooms and hotel but overpriced drinks and too noisy if staying in a road facing room."

It does need updating and some TLC but our room was clean and everything we needed for a good night's sleep, after all we were out all day and just needed a base. "We went for my husbands birthday for one night. Had a lovely stay, enjoyed thd facilities of the spa although the pool area seemed a little tired and in need of some tlc. Comfortable room with lovely views over the bay, nice big room comfy bed , cant fault the stay. Also breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and fresh barrista coffee included. Will definately stay again"
