The location is stunning, the building/room are well renovated, and the service was impeccable. They catered to gluten-free for breakfast, and the caprese salad we had one evening was delicious. We appreciated the use of local produce. Thank you for our stay, we wished it was longer!

We were travelling as a family of four. We had booked the Montepulciano 2 bedroom suite, but were delighted to be told on arrival that we'd been upgraded to the best villa on resort(!), Villa Nobile. This included a private pool and hot tub, all with fantastic views across the Tuscan countryside. The accommodation was v high standard and extremely luxurious. The service was fantastic, especially Natalia on arrival. If you're visiting on a Friday, then recommend joining the bbq...great food and...

My partner and I stayed at the heavenly Lupaia to start our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The incredible attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Every part of our stay was outstanding, from the brilliant team (each and every one of them) to the setting, the stunning pool, wonderful food and atmosphere - we cannot wait to come back to this Tuscan paradise!

Excellent hotel, one of our favourites with Tuscany. Very warm and welcoming team, incredibly high standard restaurant. Amenities were wonderful, would highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights so got to know the area and hotel well. The location is excellant for exploring the very best Tuscany can offer. The owner and staff were very helpful and always on hand to assist.
We also travelled with our 19 month daughter and the hotel was very child friendly. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. Great stay.

We spent 4 days at the Castelli di Velona. Our room (a suite in the old part of the hotel) was perfect - a good size bedroom and sitting room and well equipped bathroom - all done in a traditional style in keeping with the castle. The pool area was also excellent. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to the gym (too small to really call a gym - only two pieces of equipment) and the lack of any tea / coffee facilities in the room. But by far the best thing about the hotel was the staff -...

Amazing location, well maintained, staff is amazing. Rich &yummy breakfast and amazing warm pool. Spa was unique and one of the best I’ve been to. Traveled with a baby and the did above and beyond to accommodate us ❤️
Restaurant was ok (pagoda), a bit pricey and we had better meals outside the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful hosts and a beautiful and comfortable place to stay with fantastic views from near the top of Montepulciano to the East and to the West over the surrounding countryside. Convenient wine bar owned by the same people next door where we enjoyed a light supper and some local wine. Good variety on offer for breakfast. VEry convenient parking just outside the front of the building.

We had the most magical 3 day stay at this hotel and could not recommend it more. Our room was beautifully appointed with a gas fireplace, exceptionally comfortable bed and large bathroom with all the amenities (including a Dyson hairdryer). The food at the bistro (which we ate as appetizer as well as once as a dinner) was so amazing and the cocktails inspirational. And the continental breakfast with fresh bread, pastries, granola and Viennoise tart enough to keep us going the entire day. A big...
