"Lovely hotel with great views. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was just ok. Fancy looking but not great. There are far better dining options with much better quality food at lower prices in town. You must have a car or use taxi/uber as there are no paved areas on the roads surrounding the hotel and walking is perilous. "

"Faburlous sea views from close up. If you sleep well with the sound of waves -- can't beat it. Very convenient for short walks to restaurants and a grocery right next door. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and professional. It's hard to think of something we didn't like, but perhaps it would be people slamming doors in the early morning. (Perhaps soft-close mechanisms?)"

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything available on site, but also very easy walking distance to Funchal centre. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful & breakfast was a delicious choice of fresh & cooked food. "We had a great stay at Three House Hotel. The staff was very welcoming, the room was a perfect size for us and the location was great. Note that if you drive to the hotel do not take the 'fastest route' through the neighborhood as this will take you on very narrow roads with tight turns. Use the main road which the hotel is on."
