Was curious about Andy Murray's investment in a country hotel. But as I drove up the private road you could see why. It's a lovely secluded residence. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces. Excellent condition, very comfortable and entirely pleasant, efficient and friendly staff.

This is a really nice hotel. Public areas are bright and welcoming whilst the suite offered, Schiehallion, was spacious and comfortable. Staff were obliging and friendly and the experience overall with regards the accommodation was very positive. The experience in the restaurant was less impressive but not altogether negative. A modest uptick in experienced staff would assist some I sense. Would stay here again.
