I have stayed in many high end hotels throughout the world and I have to say that this experience was superb from start to finish. Staff could not have been more professional and helpful. The room was superb and the setting was also great. All rooms are individually designed and the building dates back to the 15th century, so is characterful in many regards. If you're in Chambéry and you want a really good place to stay, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We spent our honeymoon here in January and it was fabulous. We had a room overlooking the slopes and the outdoor pool, which I'd recommend. It truly is ski-in, ski-out, which makes it v convenient. We did half-board and ate most nights in the 2Mille3 restaurant and once in La Laiterie. I'd thoroughly recommend both. Breakfasts were also lovely. The hotel was an ideal base for us, my husband spent his time cycling the iconic local climbs and I was able to relax, in comfort waiting for his weary return! The buffet breakfast was first class, with an excellent choice to even satisfy the fussiest of eaters. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging places to eat ( as the restaurant wasn't open in the evenings) to checking whether the local cycling climbs were open or not. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone...

This hotel is run by one of the most professional staff teams that I have ever encountered. Without exception every employee that we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. It seemed that nothing was too much or too difficult if it meant the guests enjoyment of the hotel was increased. In addition extra touches such as laying out your skis out in the snow ready to jump straight on, or serving your dinner in the lounge so as not to miss the world cup game were greatly...

Amazing. We had a family skiing holiday. The hotel is within easy reach of the slopes and lifts which are a 5 minute walk away. There is also a lift that runs through the village. So you can easily access anywhere in the village by hopping on and off these, free of charge, into the evening. The staff at the hotel are helpful and kind, speaking perfect English and responding immediately to any requests, fantastic customer service that is second to none. The Hotel was really cute and in good location. The service was EXCELLENT, from the reception desk to shuttle drivers and cleaners. Our room was really lovely very alpine vibe! The reception desk were very good at helping us to book restaurants or with suggestions! Definitely will stay again

A last minute decision to have a few days in Courchevel 1850. The standard of service from all staff was faultless. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant was superb, the bar staff friendly and courteous, the ski hire and ski room excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. You certainly get what you pay for.

Excellent room with Lake view. Separate Dressing Room, Bathroom and WC. Only thing lacking would be a washbasin in room with the WC. Swimming Pool area superb.

Hotel is very nice, and superbly located on the slopes, but the staff really made it fantastic, particularly the receptionist who helped sort out a different room for us with a better balcony, and the manager who assisted with this request. Can't speak highly enough of the service. Thank you.
