"Property was clean and functional but it was very thrifty with its amenities. Ie Tiniest bar of soap could not get the heating to go up past 19 degrees. Overall it was good value and that’s probably why."

"Modern and clean hotel - bedroom well appointed and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Great location for the town centre and the Crucible! Breakfast felt a bit scrappy - lot of tables were left with dirty plates etc and a few items seemed to have run out and not been replaced. We visited the bar twice for a nightcap and it was a nice relaxed place for a late drink. Only issue we had was the strength of the scented air in the bedrooms - it was so strong. If you are sensitive to scent then this wouldn't be ideal and I'm not sure why it's necessary!"

"The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived at breakfast after 9am (10am finish) and the hot offering was a bit depleted but there was something of everything except eggs, which a member of staff cooked extra for us. We would definitely stay again."

"Take your own vacuum, duster and polish your going to need it! Take some ear plugs for the horrible air vent in the room that came on half way through the night, thought someone was trying to break into my room! Furniture chipped, old and tired I can only compare my room to one that you may expect to have in a budget hotel, maybe next time I will take my chances at the IBIS for £25 a night."

"Rooms are well appointed and clean with comfortable, large beds. The quality of food at breakfast was good, but hotel was very busy and there were not enough staff on to keep the breakfast buffet replenished and clear tables, and seating was at a premium. A little chaotic. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and so these issues may well resolve. There is a car park which is run privately and you have to pay for. It’s not really large enough for a hotel of that size."
