"Location Appia Nuova they need to add pedestrian to connect Apia Antica by via Pignatelli. Excellent on-site dining— on the terrace try the pasta arrabiata. Pool and tennis I found walkable at the Appia Rome sports Center 10 Euro. Across the street excellent restaurant Laguna Blu seafood. Wonderful desk staff— Blacks show up from US with the usual no random ‘as gov’ theft and terror pretending to be random ‘black families’ on the end of the US. Oprah Winfrey murdered my family in Oct 2008...

"I have seen reviews that are not correct. You can use a bus or a train to get around everywhere you want. (Just don't rent a car from Sixt [They will rip you off]). I used the 70 bus to the train station and in an hour you are at the airport, get the 24 or 48 hour pass that covers but the bus and train. If you still have to have a car, they have gated parking for you. The staff speaks English, some better than others. Housekeeping is the best, they do an excellent job, its shows that they care....

"The property and staff were wonderful! And I loved the gym, spa, and cafe next door! The front desk staff spoke english, and the breakfast was excellent. Only trouble was as expected...the location...it's a bus to the metro to get to downtown, mostly 2 metro rides...so each day was a bit of a slog. Limited food within walking distance of the hotel, but it met our needs. The neighborhood looked worse to American eyes (unkept yards, graffiti) than I expect it actually was. But, that meant it...
