We loved our stay here. Breakfast was great. Beach 2 minutes walk. Khao Lak centre 5 minutes. Certain aspects, the Pool and Bathroom, could use a bit of TLC, and the beer fridge, temperature definitely need looking at because if your going to sell a small Chang for £2.15 in 30+c heat it has to be very chilled. So I'm very happy we stayed here and the above isn't a problem, except the beer 😁

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Adult only Sensimar Hotel. The room was clean & the towels were changed every other day. The breakfast was delicious. The staff are all friendly & always willing to help. Swimming pools cleaned every day. Location of the hotel is great. They are many restaurants nearby, all within walking distance.

Loved our stay here . The location is perfect if you love beach holidays away from the crowd. If you want a fantastic peacefull holiday look no further. The staff are really friendly. We managed to upgrade whilst there for beach front room which was well worth it !

Great hotel. Beautiful on the beach. All the Thai staff are excellent and are warm and welcoming. Good breakfast and pool snacks. Sassi's restaurant is very comfortable and nice in the evening. It was beautiful, from the rooms to the grounds. Very peaceful with a view to the hills beyond. Good pool and very friendly drinks sevice there too. Short walk to the beach, though its best walking a little further along to find the pergect spots.

Very good hotel, few minutes walk to beach & central Khao Lak town. Lovely pools, however requires more shade around pools & a shower at leaf pool. Breakfast had adequate choice with egg station. Lovely grounds well maintained. We had an extra bed in room which was ready on arrival. Clean towels & beach towels every day if needed. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely 30 room boutique hotel, with the most amazing infinity pool. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for the customers, even to arranging free access to a gym nearby. The restaurant is a beautiful setting for a relaxing leisurely breakfast. If you want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting at a reasonable price, this is the hotel.

After a miserable bus ride, the staff here were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They dealt with are booking accidentally through two different sites and made us feel very welcome. We haven’t had this good of service for this rate anywhere in Thailand! Also - room, pool and beach are gorgeous!

Excellent hotel with a very nice pool - the happy hour cocktails in the swim up pool bar were great value. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Having paid for a bay room we were a bit disappointed with the view (room 210) as it looked out onto a wall with a very narrow view of a small pool behind the building. The location is ideal - very close to the beach and the main road - in walking distance to the market, restaurants and bars.

This hotel is in an excellent location being directly on the beach and close to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large and comfortable and have a separate shower and bath, TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, and plenty drawer and hanging space. There is also a day bed in the room. This was our second time in Khao Lak but the first at the Laguna Resort. We found the hotel excellent and very accommodating. Had booked through Expedia and within days if the booking I realised I had booked the wrong room. I contacted Expedia to change it. They got back to me to say I could change the room when I got there. Unfortunately there was no record of this call and the hotel was fully booked. We arrived late to a very courteous and efficient check in at the Apsara; opened the door to a fantastic sea front room, which was all the more appreciated when we opened the curtains in the morning to find the beach right under our nose. Absolutely wonderful stay, in a really nice part of Thailand which is recovering so well after the devastation of 2004. We stayed for four nights in the Thai Life homestay in a Dusita Villa overlooking the central lake. The villa itself was roomy and well equipped with a firm king sized bed, air conditioning, a kettle and microwave oven. The windows all had insect screens. The shower was outside in a private enclosure. One of the best features was a large veranda looking out over the lake. Ours faced west so caught the sun in the evening. Stayed for 12 nights in April 2015, the hotel is beautiful and definately value for money. The breakfast buffet is great, pleanty of choice and has everything. We ate in Platoo on the beach almost every day, great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Also Pim's Cafe which is round the corner from the main entrance, fantastic food and service..always fresh food.

This us the second time at Beyond Resort Khao Lak and we were'nt disappointed. Perfect place to unwind and relax.
