"Pros: Warm water pools (3 of them), sugar white powdery sandy (absolutely no sea-weed) beach with warm sea water better than the Maldives, Maasai shops next to the hotel and in the village within walking distance, large roofed restaurant with seating on white sandy floor, plenty of beach loungers, friendly restaurant staff Cons: Dated rooms, water leaking from shower to rest of the washroom which they could not repair after multiple attempts"

"The hotel was full of amazing character and extremely friendly staff. They were super helpful and really elevated our experience. We loved our stay here! Couldn’t recommend it enough!"

"Very outdated hotel, however it was clean and staff were friendly"

"My mom and I just stayed here for three nights and LOVED IT!!! From the staff, to the cleanliness of the hotel and to the food options. Outstanding. Literally perfect, no notes."

"Lovely stay at the Mizingani Seafront. Extremely helpful and attentive staff, clean/comfortable rooms and a nice quiet pool area"

"Several different location of where rooms are located. We stayed 100 m from main hotel reception. Room we stayed in was spacious including the bathroom. Best buffé breakfast with many options."

"Air conditioning work great and the hotel is in a great location"

"Really good value for money, location is good and staff were very friendly."

"The laundry doesn’t do shoes Need more variety in the breakfast"

"Breakfast is horrible. Please improve a little bit. Even mama ntilie Breakfast is better."

"Really relaxing and calming hotel. Had everything you needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the areas were nice including the pool. Staff were amazing and a special shoutout to Judith who made my stay and birthday special. Will never forget her ❤️"

"Location on Kendwa beach was the best! Beautiful swimming, restaurant with beach view and stunning sunsets right from your beach chair. You can walk to other restaurants and the beach was safe for walking. Patrols also ensured beach merchants did not get too close. Wifi was spotty at times. Room was comfortable, though sometimes AC would go out due to spotty electricity issues which is all over zanzibar so not the property. A wonderful and easy stay after safari!"

"Nice stay"

"The service at the Neela was unparalleled. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, but never fawning or in the way. Make sure to visit not only their downstairs cafe, but also their rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend."

"Breakfast is great though not buffet. The location is in the middle of stone town and very near to the sea and the night market location. Staff is so friendly. I prefer if the toilet has door instead of a curtain. The room was without telephone but it was very near to the reception desk so it was ok."

"Everything about the hotel is just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. If I find myself in Zanzibar again, it would be the hotel I would stay in again."

"Great hotel, right on the beach (once you avoid the sellers), with great customer service especially from some of the bar staff. Also a couple of themed evenings at the hotel but I missed the Swahili night which looked lots of fun. No complaints from our group."

"The room was large and very clean. The staff were very helpful."

"Clean room and friendly staff"
