The property itself is very nice and well kept. The staff were also great! The pool is nice but a little deep at 1.4m but I’m just short. They do need to do a better job of food safety and covering food from flies. If I didn’t make it right at buffet opening, everything was covered in bugs! Also ...

Room was lovely. Food was amazing and so much choice. Entertainment was very varied and suitable for everyone. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Never felt too busy throughout the hotel so no struggles to get sunbeds or anything

Kiwengwa beach is not as crowded or touristy as some. There is some mud and weeds at low tide but the tides are not very low and the swimming at high tide is enjoyable. We loved the pier to walk out to a thatched bar where they hold parties at night

The beach is soft and white. Prison Island should be on the list - see and feed the giant tortoises is a must - 30-40 minute boat-ride from Stonetown.
