We had an executive room with balcony and lovely views over the countryside. Food was good and the staff friendly. we only tried the restaurant and that was good. Breakfast on the terrace in the very hot weather was a pleasant experience

Having stayed at The Orange Tree in the past many times, we were really pleasantly surprised to find that they had expanded their accommodation to include the conversation of two cottages next door. It was in one of these that we stayed. The rooms had been so tastefully done with all the amenities that you could wish for. With the most wonderful beach in walking distance we could not find a better place. We ate in the pub the first night, but as the menu was somewhat ’fancy’ we did try another...

Highly recommend. Gorgeous restaurant and rooms with a beautiful courtyard garden. Perfect for us with two children who were in same building but floor above via internal staircase. Car park just round the corner had to pay separately for but plenty spaces. Bed was fine but could have been more comfortable and slippers would be good but appreciated the robes. I stay in a lot of hotels due to business and i picked this one due to location and reviews what a result Fantastic greeting by 2 kadies when i arrived Great room Superb high quality food in the restaurant obviously cooked by a good chef Great service from the waitress and the gentleman behind the bar I would recomend this hotel for business or pleasure to anyone it is worth travelling that extra mile or two to get there.

From the moment we walked into reception we felt valued and treated as if we were a valued customer. Keith checked us in took us to our room explained where everything was including fresh milk in the fridge for your morning coffee or tea in your room and home made cookies, and how to get to the spa and pool. He was also the one we asked about other things to do in the area and he was always happy to help look up or suggest things. I cannot remember when I have had such a warm welcome at...

We were made welcome from the time we checked in and all hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is dog friendly and cleaning staff even took the trouble to put a small plastic map for our dog's bowls in the room. Overall, a lovely stay with excellent breakfasts and excellent meals in both the restaurant and bar. The licensee who was on duty for most of our stay - Steve - was exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to make to make our stay enjoyable.
