"Outstanding facilities for walkers and hikers"
Stayed for two nights. Our first room was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view, however as they were heavily booked we had to change rooms and the old part of the house did not compare, although the beautiful old staircase and windows up to the room were stunning. Staff were helpful and very caring, especially after I hurt my back in a bad fall. Although we were not there to hike we were very impressed at the facilities provided for those who wanted to, with laminated maps to take, graded walks and the ability to pack a lunch from a good variety of food. We did use the drying room and laundry. Breakfast looked excellent but it was too crowded for us so we had breakfast at a small cafe nearby. I believe every Friday night they have the traditional Scottish piping in of the Haggis and the piper was great. You must book for dinner in the morning and choose your menu. No lunch is served but there is tea and coffee available all day.

"Heavenly peace"
Port Appin is a beautiful location, really quiet and peaceful,we enjoyed having some time to 'switch off' and just enjoy the beauty of the nature around us. The Pierhouse is positioned right on the loch and has wonderful views,a fantastic menu of excellent quality local produce, comfortable clean quality rooms. All the staff were extremely friendly and we just felt so relaxed, lovely for a few days stay. I would recommend getting a room with a view it's definitely worth the extra cost. If wanting treatments book well ahead of your stay as the therapist gets very busy.
