Stayed for one night with my boyfriend, to get a break from it all and this was definitely the right place. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the decor and comfort of the rooms was of a very high standard. Would book this hote again.

This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents.

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb. We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

Had a fab stay first time visit to the lakes with my family... Breakfast was delicious filled us up for the day... Quite village was gutted that hotel didn't have Sky TV hence missed the Aston villa game as most Local pubs would only allow children in till 9.00 pm... Would stay again... Was disappointed with the wifi as took our Amazon stick for kids to watch films but we had no internet connection

Lovely hotel, fabulous friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a hotel, letting you choose exactly what you want so it’s made to order and piping hot. Will definitely be back - loved it.

We stayed here from 27 November 15 to 1st December 15 and had a fantastic time. They couldn't do enough for us and were always there to give information when we asked. They even catered for my fiances breakfast of a burger every morning - if that's not customer service and going the extra mile I don't know what is. This is a very nice hotel with very friendly owners, also family friendly. 5mins taxi ride in to Keswick for half the price of a Keswick hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle. Everything about the place is great, the food, the beer, the location and car parking. Best of all are the staff, really friendly and helpful. All in all it was a very nice stay food was excellent room was very good only thing that took the edge of the whole experience was we were told breakfast finished at ten we got down at 9-32 and a snoty waitress said breakfast finished at 9-30 I pointed out it’s only two minutes past surely you can squeeze us in no chance spoilt the whole experience

Ideally situated near to M6 motorway junction 42 and 43. Lovely country location. Clean and comfortable rooms (fan provided) good food and friendly staff. Beautiful mature gardens. Plenty of free on site parking,free Wi-Fi. Food and accommodation reasonably priced.

The room and amenities are great. The grounds are beautiful and the staff generally really nice. Only the lady in reception when we checked in acted like she was bored and we were disturbing her. The staff in the restaurant however absolutely amazing and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place
