"The staff were exceptional!! The food was exceptionally good, with a mix including Indian as well as UK, but all - dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the centre of the city of Brechin, quite close to the cathedral - well worth visit! Th oldest part dates from around 1000AD"

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Excellent host and service. "

"Nous avons passé un séjour absolument exceptionnel dans cette maison avec notre groupe de six amis. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"The cottage was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. It was really well situated for walking into the centre of Ballater."

"These huts are incredible, the location is amazing with fantastic views, I've stayed a few times over the years and the team are helpful on arrival and don't bother you after that but are always available when needed. I've had different ones. Theres everything you need in a hut with a self contained kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and they're clean and warm. I can't wait to go back!"
