The beach is within walking distance with lots of local bars restaurants to visit. During our stay we hired a car and was able to access the free parking daily with no issues. "Hostal Romerito is a perfect spot to stay for few days in Malaga. 15 min from the centre by bus, bus 20 is regular even weekend and evening time. The hostal is spotless clean and staff is really nice. The place is great you can rest as much as you need as it’s silent too."

"Easy going staff very good. But the tourist map handed to me was inadequate but not hotels fault . I had a lovely ground floor room and didn’t hear any noise from neighbours as other reports have suggested. I had a very good time and would go back to same hotel"

"I had a 'Superior Apartment' which was at the front overlooking the beach which was great. The room was perfectly equiped to self cater with a small kitchen in the living area and a large terrace outside with both table and chairs and sun loungers. There was a bit of a musty smell as I walked in. Perhaps there had been a smoker there before me (It would benefit from a fresh paint job and a deep clean of upholstery). "I don’t understand any negative reviews I thought this place was fantastic and I had a wonderful time. Shout out to Eva at the front desk and Victor in the restaurant both were very helpful and should get raises! The room was spotlessly clean and the maid mopped my floor during my stay which impressed me. Good food too."

"My son and I booked this room as it was in a good location without the usually high Marbella price tag. The room had a tv with Spanish channels, kettle with drinks tray and bottled water, hand wash , shower gel, towels, hairdryer and a safe (payable locally). The mattresses were firm but comfortable and we both slept well apart from the noise which could be heard from the other guest room's, not great if you are a light sleeper.
