If a European guest was offered this meal, they would have truly insulted as we were .when we used this hotel last year, we had a full English breakfast which was very good. The food standards now are appalling."

"We loved our mini-moon at The Spread Eagle. The staff were kind enough to upgrade our room, offer us some fizz on the house and gave us cutlery and plates so we could enjoy a bit more wedding cake. I'm sure you don't have to be freshly married to enjoy your time at the hotel, it is a lovely space, the staff were brilliant and the room was comfortable and clean.
