Stayed for one night to go to Goodwood horse races. Staff were amazing! Our taxi we booked to take us to the racecourse was very late, so one of the staff offered to give us a lift so we wouldn't miss the first race. We had lunch and dinner at The Dean and food was great. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and again amazing service from the staff.

Very happy we chose this hotel loved the boutique room and glad we ate in the restaurant as the food was outstanding, also worth taking the time to walk around the village as very pretty and well kept. Stayed here as close to Arundel castle which was also amazing.

Attractive small hotel in a quiet location and very close to the beach. Rooms are small but well appointed with all that one needs. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Car park is tight so not for nervous drivers! Breakfast is freshly cooked but limited choice - more fruit would be nice! The dining area (outdoors in nice weather) gets very busy and lively - a good sign but can be a little noisy - but not late in the evening. Recommended.

Our stay at ye old gate inn was fantastic , room was just perfect and I have never met nicer people the staff are all wonderful and so very helpful , Thankyou to Sam and all other members of staff - much appreciated Thankyou Samantha & John im sure we will see you all again soon x

We had a lovely one night stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a large shower room, and a very comfortable bed. We had dinner there and the food was lovely. The breakfast was included and also good - the chef came to take our orders for cooked food, and was very accommodating.

Very friendly staff. My room was 2 floors up (28 steps) - not a problem for me, but there was no lift. Great central location, 15 minutes walk from the station, or a 2 stop bus ride. Excellent TV with apps allowing catch up, or watch from start if programme started (nearby chain hotel should take note). Very good breakfast. WiFi a bit flakey at top where I was, but not a real problem (might be if wanting to stream video). Room a bit "tired" but I've seen much worse. I don't think there's private...

Staff were very positive and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent and more than enough. Great choice available. Parking was good, but very tight on the night we were there as there was a wedding going on. But we still found a spot. In spite of how busy it was the staff coped really well and were cheerful to boot.

Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal.

Mini break for my 50th. Beautiful pub and accommodation with real local charm and such hospitality and generosity. Thank you Martin, Lynn and team for making my stay so memorable.

Delightful stay with pleasant helpful service in this Grade 2 listed hotel. Lovely grounds with plenty of seating. Also pool and gym and beauty treatments available. Comfortable bar and lounge too. An oasis of charm.

We were keen to find accommodation with soul and character and that's exactly what it was. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home very quickly. Lewis and Alistair gave us great advice on where to go and introduced us to the local ales they served. Our room had lovely decor and a roof terrace that overlooked their beer garden. Breakfast was delightful. It is a short walk away from the station and to the bus stop which takes you to West Wittering beach. I cannot recommend...

Me and my Partner really loved staying here. Live Band on aswel had a brilliant night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definetly be returning again

Really friendly helpful staff. Clean and cheerful place to stay. Good location in walking distance from all the interesting locations in Chichester, especially the cathedral.

OMG. I stay in a lot of hotels but this tops the list of my favourites. My junior suite was vast and the food excellent. Stay here......except when I want to stay again!

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room came with a side sea view and was decorated to a high standard and had a new shower room. Communal areas and the exterior are in need of refurbishment, but don’t be put off staying here as it’s a great hotel and breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choices. Hotel is a short walk from pier, shops and restaurants and Coastliner bus stop is outside with frequent buses to Brighton.
