"Lift was not working and I was on the top floor so struggled with my luggage. TV was an issue as could not find the standard channels only satellite channels I had not seen before and I have sky at home. Great spot ans over the road from the beach. Very good buffet breakfast. Good value for money Hotel and my room (18) was excellent but if you are not fit and agile ask for lower floor room. This is the second time I have stayed here."

"The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber. "Hotel is in a great setting. Very peaceful stay. Room was pleasant and comfortable. Staff serving food were excellent. The Sunday evening dinner, great choice, meat was very tender and plentiful. Very good breakfast. Best ever porridge "

"Easy no frills check in. Haven’t seen any staff, we didn’t need them during our 2 night stay. Codes to access doors. Looks newly renovated. Room 7 on the 2nd floor has lovely view of the sea. Looks very clean and tidy but may need closer attention behind bedside lamps when cleaning as cobwebs seen. Has clothes cupboard meant for children, adult hangers cant fit in it.
