"Had a great stay and the staff were great."

"We were very happy with our stay, chose this hotel because of it's location, easy walk into Shaftesbury and gold hill, and next day to stourhead national trust. The room was very clean and everything worked ok but the room decor reflected the 3 star rating, but the bar and dinning areas were more like 4/5 star and also the food and service one of the best Sunday carveries ever, would return just for that, and then to top that the full English breakfast wow, that was definitely 5 star, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel has a large car park area which is shared by day visitors for restaurant and swimming pool which is free to guests, although the building looks a little tired we would use again because of the price, The only suggestion I would make is to separate the guests parking area from visitors . "

"Easy to find, good car park. Staff were so friendly. Property clean and warm. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely a must stay for the beautiful Frome . We all really enjoyed our stay - thank you . "

"disabled parking 2 very small spaces in an enclosed courtyard quite tight .hot tub was out of order. lots of steps as well as the mentioned creaky wooden stairs. check-in is right opposite the swimming pool entrance in the same aera as club entrance so wet & slippy floor and crowded blocking access. room was drab and dated empty for the size .noise level of neighbours and any movement in hallway echoed. bed was very uncomfortable lumpy. shower didn't drain and overflowed. wooden toilet seat that pushed flush button when seated."

It felt both luxurious and welcoming, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. The peaceful setting added to the experience, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. Every aspect of our stay reflected care and quality, and it’s clear that a lot of pride goes into maintaining such high standards.
