"We had a nice balcony with a view of the picturesque hillside and an extra bed which we used as a sofa. The queen size bed was very close to the twin bed so not much walking room but the bed was very comfortable. Wish we had asked for blankets as the sheets were not warm enough for the chilly nights. The breakfast buffet was a treat and had the typical European rolls, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, eggs, and cereals but the dinner food was less tasteful. "The room was cleaned daily. AC was ok but started to drip water. The bathroom was spacious but the shower unit a bit small. Unfortunately my bathroom door got stuck. The bed was comfortable. The outside terrace was ok."

"Family run hotel, nice owners, very convenient location for travelling, because just a little outside of the town center of Varazze. Fantastic food in their restaurant. Good continental breakfast. The only thing I had a small problem with was that the fan in the bathroom was not working, and that the showerfloor was not very nice.....broken tiles etc. The room was very hot, the aircondition was not on but eventually at night with a slightly open window it cooled down. "

They are clean (as clean as they can be with the decades of no maintenance). Rooms need a serious upgrade. But it is cheap and the parking is plenty. 15 min walk to the beach. "

"Very convenient hotel, close to Genoa and various beaches. Great position for dining and has private parking. The hotel is in an amazing building but the rooms need renovation, bathrooms are especially outdated. The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is a nice plus with fresh pastries and focaccia! "Nice comfortable place with good food. Wi-Fi now good. This is my third time to the hotel and the first the Wi-Fi only worked slowly in the reception area, so I was happy with this visit. As in the past I was given a spacious room with a big balcony looking at the tower of the church opposite. Nice bathroom. Nice desk in room. Good closet space. The large balcony would be a nice place to view the hills and enjoy the sky. All the staff were very nice. Great staff and most speak decent English....
