"This was a surprising property for me. At first it looked more like a typical American Motel but WHOA was I surprised ! "the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"Great place for a family of four with young kids. The river and mountains were just outside our door. Very spacious and comfortable room. The staff was incredibly accommodating, too. We flew into Reykjavik late afternoon and drove up that evening. We got there just as their restaurant was closing, and they stayed open late for us. "
