We loved how warm and cozy our deluxe room was. The heated floor, the hot water kettle, and refrigerator were so convenient. The location of the room was perfect as well. We were able to see the northern lights from our room. The food and staff at the restaurant was exquisite. Sasha, in particular, was very kind. He opened up the restaurant for us since we got to the hotel early before check-in time, and we were able to have a delicious lunch (the cod sandwich with chips and salmon salad), and enjoy the quiet dining hall to ourselves while taking in the beautiful views of Husafell. We are very grateful for the excursion opportunities that were offered (into the glacier, lava cave, snowmobiling on top of Langjoküll, Barnafoss, etc). The staff there were amazing. Lastly, the geothermal baths right outside our hotel was lovely to have. We went twice and it was never crowded. Very relaxing, rejuvenating, and refreshing. Thank you for our stay. Bathrooms were nice and stocked with plenty of towels and essentials like shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, good knives and other cooking utensils, and spices. We saw the northern lights several times from the spacious deck which also has a nice grill for cooking. We would love to stay here again or at one of the host’s other properties." Private and cozy. Gorgeous Auroras and falling stars. Bathroom was beautiful. Floors heated throughout. The main Inn was beautiful too. Nice ambiance. Nice bar area with nice sitting area. We did not eat at the resturant, but wished we would of because it looked lovely and the dinner look good ( private Christmas party). Service was excellent. Very clean. Breakfast included was adequate. Wished we would of booked extra night. I highly recommend. Best place we stayed in Iceland. Restaurant on site was good as well, friendly staff and delicious food. The waterfall is overlooks was stunning. All in all this was my favorite stay of my trip, I hope to return in the future.
