We have travelled the Highlands for the past 10 days and this was by far the comfiest bed!! Exceeded our expectations for the price. Lovely cooked breakfast with an incredibly hardworking owner who could not do more for you. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back this way.

The rain! This is enough while we are on holiday, don not be cheeky asking for more!

Very friendly staff. Had sky sports on TV in bedroom. BT sport in main bar. Breakfast is not a buffet but is cooked to order. As well as standard Scottish full breakfast can recommend the Finnan haddock with perfect poached eggs

Strålande läge med gångavstånd till citykärnan. Väldigt vackert hus, trevlig ägarinna, vackert och bekvämt rum, skön säng, svalt på natten, tyst. Lite dåligt tryck i duschen och skulle vinna på att kanske ha ett litet bord vid fåtöljerna i rummet. Bra frukost och parkering utanför huset.

I’ve never stayed in such a perfect place before. The property and the room were absolutely splendid. even more beautiful than in the photos. The scenery around the place is stunning, with lochs and mountains all around. The bedding was very comfortable, and the room was beautifully decorated with great style. Tom and Donna were incredible hosts! The place was so clean and the rooms had beautiful accents. The bed was extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet, yet in walking distance from everything. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Inverness.

Stayed here for 3 nights-most enjoyable! Room was clean, spacious and quiet, breakfast was delicious and the pool/sauna were also a great addition to the trip. Staff were friendly and approachable and gave great advice about the local area and beyond. If I'm being really picky; the shower in room 230 had no power to it, but fab showers to be had by the pool. Also, room was right beside the lift which could do with a good oiling! After one night in the hotel car park, my car was COVERED in bird...

Very friendly staff. Very clean accommodation. We didn't have the breakfast as I don't eat it but it certainly smelled amazing. Have had it in the past and it was well worth the money. Room if anything was too hot. Bed comfortable. Very close to main shopping area with lots of places to eat. Close to Eden Court Theatre if you fancied an evening out. We try and stay there every time we are in Inverness. This is our fourth time now. Would thoroughly recommend it but book quickly as very popular.

Alban & Abbey House was perfect for our one night stay. Check in was simple at their other guest house just at the end of the street and across the road. It is within walking distance of the town centre with plenty of parking at the property. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Had everything we needed 🙂

This hotel is a shining example to others. Everything is super. The service is excellent, staff lovely, food excellent. Ambiance is relaxing. Location not bad either! Country house hotel at its best, without any of the stuffiness. As as solo traveller I felt very comfortable. I will make a point of returning. No complaints whatsoever.

A last min booking, and full disclosure: I wasn't expecting much from a small regional hotel... but it was excellent. A good sized room, clean, decent bathroom, with good water pressure, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed with nice bedding, friendly staff, bar on site, great breakfast. I have stayed in large chain hotels that didn't provide all of those things! If you need to stay in Inverness and want a straightforward warm, dry and welcoming room, with parking, a simple bar and good...

Staff were very helpful. For the orice it was extremely good, it is in the centre of inverness with a 24 hr multistorey carpark very which charges £9 for a days parking. I would quite happily book again, indeed i am booking a short two day stay in July here to prove i liked it. Menu was basic but the pizza i had appeared to be stone baked. I stayed on a monday so the bar was very quiet so i have no idea what it is lije on a weekend.

A hotel that is a little bit dated in areas, but more than makes up for this with the service provided. The owner goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
