"Great hotel to start the NC500 on my motorbike. Great spot on the shore. Great staff. My only niggle which is a personal one is that every Scottish breakfast should have Lorne sausage and haggis. Sadly this wasn't on the menu. Still, a very good breakfast!"

"This was a comfortable room in a central location near the waterfront and some of city's best restaurants (particularly the Kitchen). Most guesthouses in this price range have the obligatory uncomfortable dining chair, but this room had a comfortable armchair which is a godsend for those of us with chronic back pain. I would definitely recommend it for that reason alone."
