"Room above a busy pub so (as expected) noise late night at weekend. The room was OK, clean and warm but don't expect anything special, the price of the room reflects that compared to other places in Ryde. No shampoo or shower gel provided, so I got some from nearby pound land. Check in was handled quickly and friendly. Biggest problem was an awful stench in one of the corridors leading to the room and a pile of discarded furniture/junk too."

"I couldn't get in to the property. I arrived at around 7pm and put the code into the door lock and turned the handle only to find that the door was also locked with another lock I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"It was a complete mess, I was robbed and they gave access to two other people who weren't allowed in the room, and they didn't refund what I paid."

"The room its self was clean but very tired. It was very cold as the window/door lets in a draught (old building) but we were provided with a large blanket on arrival but the electric fire in the room was more for decoration rather than heat. The staff were happy to help with our requests for extra towels and coffee. It was a very unique experience."
