the wifi is good, its not in a busy part of the resort so quite peaceful. i would not say its a boutique hotel it more charming. the young boys that work here are polite and seem to keep busy. the breakfast has a good range and the staff are attentive at clearing away etc. the pool area is clean ...
We were only one block off the main street that heads to the sea. The room was very pleasant and the breakfasts were varied and well prepared. Loved the french toast! The staff were friendly and helpful. For a small fee we had our laundry done.
With sun-soaked beaches, happy-hour cocktails and a lively, bargain-filled bazaar, Marmaris has plenty to offer the budget traveller. If you are looking for cheap accommodation, Marmaris has a good range of two-star hotels. Choose from comfortable apartment hotels, high rises with huge pools and, at the southern end of the strip, big family-friendly hotels on the doorstep of Marmaris’ best water park.
For a low-cost room at the heart of all the action, pick a two-star hotel on the seafront. If you don’t fancy being right on the strip then go for one of the two-star properties located a few blocks back from the seafront. Here the pace is decidedly slower, but you’re still only a stone’s throw from the action of Marmaris beachfront.
The best things to do in Marmaris are mostly in a compact area, so you can walk between all the best attractions, keeping transport costs down. Most two-star hotels in central Marmaris are a short stroll from the seafront, putting sea, sand, water sports and sea-view cafes in easy reach by day.
By night, the strip’s cheap bars are within walking distance of most of the budget hotels in Marmaris. Take a short walk to enjoy a few happy-hour drinks, knowing you won’t have far to go at the end of the night.
Marmaris may be famous for its sun, sea and sand, but there are also historical sights here that are well worth exploring. Explore the 16th-century castle that lords over the old town, or simply gaze up at it as you wander the atmospheric streets below.
You won’t need much spending money to enjoy the sights and sounds of the town’s bazaar, where you will find everything from herbs to handbags being peddled by local traders. If you want to do a bit of shopping while in Marmaris then this is the place to bag a bargain.
Book a two-star hotel in Marmaris and enjoy a cheap break where you can take your pick from local culture, Mediterranean sun and nightlife.
