"The staff were very friendly, and made us feel at home! The room was cozy and the view was beautiful, though the road outside was rather noisy, but it dies down after dark. I was hooked on the Cotswold Stout while we were there, and the town absolutely won our hearts! Highly recommended The Bear if you're around Marlborough!"

Stair carpets are tired and stained which gives a negative impression, could be rectified at not too much cost.

10/10 Excellent
Staff were very busy when we arrived, but gave us a warm welcome, and showed us to our room. We had a good, yet reasonably priced, meal in the evening and an hearty full English breakfast. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
