"Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe. There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives. "Our host had lots of helpful information at the ready upon arrival and the space was well decorated and in great condition. A GREAT spot to stay!"

"Towels were ratty, the sheets were tatty. One could hardly turn around in the shower of lukewarm water. The kitchen looked none too clean. Worst of all, our hostess was not welcoming, accommodating, or gracious. The only time she smiled was when we left. Breakfast was good, but we had to ask for napkins!"
