"We had a text a couple of days before and were able to ask a couple of questions. We were welcomed by Vernon on arrival and shown around the hotel. Vernon was keen to show the girls the dancing and they had a long session the next morning. Breakfast was cereal and we had coffee and tea. The guest house is very clean and tidy and welcoming. "Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove.
