"Stayed for one night , the room was nice with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good (full English) and staff very good. This should be described as a Bed & Breakfast not a Hotel."

"Staff are always friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere in the pub with a great choice of good value food and beers. Very comfortable room."

"The room was really hot and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The room was nicely furnished otherwise, just small. The breakfast was really good. Location on the river near the train station, great."

"The lodging here was so beautiful, small style cabins that are modern with a great view and a small garden out back. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The restaurant next to the lodging was amazing, staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back."

"The bed in the room was like a concrete slab and we only had towels for 1 no slip mat for the bath and shower and the floor of the bathroom was like a skate in ring."

"Unfortunately we only stayed one night, and did not want to leave, the house is amazing so old in places full of history and character lovely gardens, just when you think that’s enough there is a games room! Great choice of breakfast just felt so welcome, relaxing in fact we found it magical !"

"It was beautiful waking up and seeing the boats on the river, very quiet and lovely staff. "

"Good value hotel and breakfast. Unfortunately close to the bypass with a very high proportion of çars and motorcycles with amplified exhausts."

"Very enjoyable stay overall."

"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. Thanks for a great stay Jenna, nice to meet you 👍"

"Amazing ! House is stunning, so spacious, well equipped and you won’t regret bookings it’s lovely xx "

"Very clean and cosy, great WiFi considering my phone reception was poor. Very comfy bed and warm welcoming hosts. Could not ask for much for and would definitely stay again! "

"No comment Over priced, very expensive No running water in the room, nowhere to brush your teeth The bathroom was 100 yards from the room I couldn’t wait to leave"
