"Great position near Atocha train station yet not noisy. The staff were especially welcoming and friendly. The downstairs lounge was colourful and comfortable with a hostel sort of vibe with free hot drinks, soft drinks and reasonably priced home made cakes. The breakfast was great too. Everything freshly prepared which isn’t the case everywhere. The only slight downside was that the basic room was small and we had to be resourceful to find a place for everything. Lovely stay though"

"Jesus and his partners run a very clean and convenient hostel in a busy location in Madrid. They worked tireless to accommodate myself and other guest. They provide clean bedding, towels and offer laundry and breakfast. The location is awesome as it is near Reina Sofia art museum and other great places to eat and shop. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"It was nice small room, Very clean, close to many places in the middle of everything, but the only issue we have was to many prostitutes around."

"To begin with from less to worst: the room was too crowded of beds, could barely pass to my bed, some lockers were broken, bed not made, bathroom dirty, dust balls on floor, but I overlooked that and went to common area (dining room) which smelled terrible (every day of my stay at night time) regardless I sat to work on my laptop and a cockroach walked on my feet a guy stepped on it to kill it, I let staff know and they did nothing, asked for a refund to go somewhere else for the remaining days...

"I enjoyed this rental ver much, except for the shared bathroom which had a small shower which allowed water to spray all over the floor. I then had to clean it up so that the next person didn’t step in it. But the person before me didn’t do that, so I was stepping in water. "
