"Overall stay was lovely, great location and Google maps gets you there fine but written instructions a little confusing with many DONT’s. The linens on the 2 single beds became very damp over the course of our 2 night stay which was of course uncomfortable. Possibly the stone walls/warm bodies. Perhaps a dehumidifier and some constant low heat could resolve this. There were guests in the cottage above us which was disturbing overnight. "Just after Christmas I knew it wouldn't be long before i'd need my Exmoor fix. Porlock is my favourite place to be based. I went online and Hurlestone Apartment came up at a good price. It looked really homely from the photos, was pet friendly and it had parking, so I decided to book it for a long weekend. When we arrived we were greeted by Stephen. He was so welcoming. One suggestion, a little more guidance on rubbish and recycling would be helpful, we should have asked but didn’t and only realised that there was a bin for recycling on final day, the marking on bin was towards the wall and we missed it."

"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group...
