"We stayed at Langford for the night before our wedding last weekend and it was such a treat. The building and gardens are absolutely gorgeous with floral scents from the many mature flowerbeds floating in to the beautifully decorated rooms indoors. The building is clearly very old but lovingly cared for and has been maintained to a superb level of decoration and comfort. "Cracking place. Food from breakfast to evening meal we had was superb. Only small glitch was not overly soundproof rooms so neighbour having tv seemed really loud otherwise excellent value for money and will be back. From fridge in room, big bath, parking outside,nice location with friendly oubs for pool and darts, I dian restaurant and chippy, few shops and a post office and a lovely walk to watchet if you can overcome the hill. It looks worse than it is. "

"Unfortunately the pub was closed for our Tuesday night stay. This meant that we had to drive to another pub for our evening meal, which wasn't very good at all. Also meant that as the driver I couldn't have a drink. Which was the whole idea of staying at the Hood Arms was an evening in an old pub. Breakfast was supurb as was the room. Great place to stay just not (currently) on a Monday or Tuesday. Landlord was really appologetic and very helpful."

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group...
