"We enjoyed our stay at Het Cathaus The place was centrally located close to Wilhhemstad for the nightlife and accessible to beaches in the north (about 45 minutes) and to the south as well (about 20 minutes). The grounds are very nice with a new BBQ, great pool and gardens to sit and enjoy. We were a bit disappointed with the loud construction going on in the house immediately next door overlooking the pool. Thank you Marianne for your great responsiveness answering all our questions....

"Easy to access property with private pool, secure parking area, wifi, and all the amenities one could ask for. Peter was there to greet me, right at 4pm, for check-in. Very pleasant and helpful. Spent most of the time on outside patios or in the private pool. Nice to look out over the terra cotta rooftops at the sunset while enjoying the pool. Will definitely be back!"

"We rented this property for the month of February and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The property is close to the east end of the island so close to Mambo, Jan Thiel beaches. You definitely need a car to get around and we rented the car from our hosts. The thing that saved us was the internet box so we could use our cell phone for GPS. "Franz and Klaas were amazing. They helped us find a car when the entire island was completely book for car rentals. They are the A team!!"

"We loved staying here overall. Great house, great pool, great location, great views! A few negatives, dogs barking at dawn and twilight. Not just a dog but all of the dogs at once. Also electric and water are extra if you use more than $50 worth. You think way more about your electric and water use than you should on vacation. We really liked being able to go to Tug Boat Beach in 10 minutes. Best snorkeling we found on the island. A great base for exploring."

"Clean house with airconditioning in the 2 bedrooms. The patio behind the house is fully covered by a roof, giving lots of shade. Good equipped kitchen and we made good use of the small barbecue. We loved sitting outside for breakfast and dinner. About 20 minutes walk from a small public beach and 15 minutes to the supermarket. With rented bikes (for 3 days) and a car (for 2 days), this was a great starting point to explore the island."

"Great place for 4 buddies to each have our own rooms for a week of shore diving and enjoying some of the best restaurants on the island. A short walk to the pool, a short walk to Mambo beach and shopping. Very short drive to some good restaurants (BKLYN, Sal, Baoase). Air conditioners in the bedrooms, washer/dryer for beach items. Large patio upstairs with ocean views for hanging out post-dive... a very quiet retreat with easy access to everything we wanted."

"From start to finish, everything was great. We had issues with our flights and reached out to let the hosts know we were delayed. They were generous in making sure that they'd be available by the time we finally got in and checked in periodically while we were there to make sure we were okay. "Booked a 2br 2ba condo here for my bestie and I on spring break. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating! Loved our whole experience with them and at the property. We had an amazing view from our balcony in the C building and could see the ocean and the bay. The pool area is super nice too! And Piscadera Beach is a wonderful place to hang out. Our favorite restaurant was Que Tapa, which was a short walk away. The location is also central to everything you need! "
