Amazing hotel with brilliant views of Victoria falls and the gorges with rail bridges into Zambia the walk to the falls through the bush absolutely brilliant. Weather is typical of Africa hot and gorgeous climate.
Loved this hotel. The shuttle bus is great and runs every hours. Good breakfast. Pool and restaurant overlook a waterhole and you can see lots of animals. They do vulture feeding at about 1 pm everyday which was great to see.
We stayed for two nights in an apartment. It was modern and the decor was extremely pleasant. Flatscreen in both the bedroom and the lounge. Certainly we felt we had our money's worth.
The bed had surround mosquito net (a must in this region).
The lounge opened on to the lawn and swimming pool with a view of the Zambesi river.
Outside furniture was also a part of the apartment, but we had to keep the doors and windows closed as there were velvet monkeys and banded mongoose around. A hippo came up on the lawn during the night, and by the river was the warning sign,'beware of crocodiles'.
The dining area was good, and the food (breakfast and evening meal) worth the price.
Breakfast was a variety of fruit, melon, sausage, bacon and eggs cooked while you wait to your taste.
Evening meal was a varied menu, or buffet (your choice) with everything from steak, to chicken to crocodile.
After a slight misunderstanding regarding our first evening meal, management went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed the rest of our stay and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel supplies a free bus to and from Victoria Falls which runs about four times a day.
We would stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Great breakfast. Reasonably priced drinks. A little disappointed in the wear and tear on the room. Peeling wallpaper and had to ask for a new shower curtain that wasn't moldy. Beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere. The shuttle was convenient and taxi's back and forth if needed weren't bad. Golf caddies were excellent (Thanks for the tips Clifford and Isac!) Considering the remoteness of this area, Elephant Hills exceeded my expectations. Don't expect internet and 5 star atmosphere in the middle of nowhere!
The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
Overall, it is nice accommodation but is seriously overpriced at nearly $500 a night. Anywhere in the world it would be around $250 for the same. But this is Zimbabwe where everything is overpriced, so it maybe understandable.
However, the aircon did not work on the last night of 3 nights of stay.
