“Not impressed considering this is 5*”
The hotel lacks some of the basic things you would expect from a 5* hotel. There was no complimentary water or tea and coffee making facilities and extra charges applied for wifi access. We tried the buffet breakfast on our first morning and were disappointed with the choice of for the price. Very expensive. The hotel bar was also dissapointing and consisted merely of 4 coffee tables and chchairs and a dressing table. The drinks were very expensive. However they came with complimentary capapes. I would have expected more from a 5* hotel.
“beautifully restored palazzo on the Grand Canal”
wonderful experience, nice restaurant, friendly staff. expensive but worth it
“Amazing Venice hotel”
Brilliant hotel. Perfectly placed on the grand canal. Rooms were amazing, staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely go back!!
“Great hotel - perfect location.”
Ask for room 407. It is the only one with a rooftop deck. Nice hotel all around. Stunning room used for breakfast, but left empty at dinner time while a smaller ground level room is used. Only trouble with the room was a failed thermostat. Had to call about every 12 hours to have them turn the heat off. Hotel made great efforts to keep the hotel nice, but it is heading for a rennovation in a year or two. If not, it will not maintain its great status.
“Fantastic!”
Great hotel very close to everything. Total old world charm. Excellent staff. Well run establishment.
“Venice”
Beautiful Hotel with excellent service Ready to go back again
“Great Hotel”
Good position, right on Grand Canal and next to water ferry - very convient. Don't book a room on 1st floor as the breakfast room is above on 2nd floor and it's very noisy from 6am onwards.........so no sleepin!!
“Wonderful Venice”
Excellent hotel - really good value - 5 star. Lovely room with view over Grand canal. Helpful staff and discreet maid service. Felt very pampered.
“Lovely Historic Hotel”
We enjoyed 3 days in Venice during Carnvale in March the weather was windy and cold but we enjoyed our stay at Ca' Sagredo very much. The Hotel is beautifully restored and the bedrooms very comfortable. The staff all very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed dinner and fine service in the hotel restaurant.
“Excellent - would go back”
We booked this hotel for its location and as a celebratory weekend. The hotel staff were excellent, couldn't have been more helpful. The room was roomy, and comfortable. Attention to detail was excellent, they even spotted from the passport details it was a landmark birthday and sent up a bottle of proscecco from the staff, which was a lovely touch. We were a little disappointed with the food in the restaurant, but the dining room does give a good view of the Grand Canal.
