"The rooms and owners were great. Breakfast was wonderful. The views were incredible. Loved sitting out on the shore. Quiet and restful the only issue we had is that no restaurants were open after 7 pm. So we had to eat before heading back to Portaferry. Would highly recommend."

"A beautiful property, well cared for and a very thoughtful lodging experience. The room had a lovely ocean view, right on the water. Brian and Cora were lovely hosts, provided all the information I needed for my stay, were very helpful in making dinner reservations, very accommodating to my schedule for checking out, and provided great relaxation services on short notice. Rachel was so lovely and curated a great breakfast; she also helped me to get in a quick load of laundry. The resident dogs were so sweet and playful. "

"This was a nostalgia trip for me, several decades after the last visit. Of course it has changed. Reception staff were great as they were busy when I arrived, explaining bar/dining options and the leisure spa. Our room was spacious and luxurious, the bathroom also roomy (although you couldn't reach the toilet roll holder from the toilet!) We used the swimming pool, the spa has great facilities. We had a meal at the Percy French pub in the grounds where the food was good and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge choice. All in all it was the perfect overnight stop on a longer trip"
