"Lovely countryside getaway!"

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"It had it all! Great 3 bedroom home in perfect, quiet location. Stayed in neighborhood for work with 2 other colleagues and we really enjoyed the home. Private bed & bath for each of us and a great kitchen to meet and unwind post work. House was clean and well equipped. The 5 minute walk up the path brought you to a grocery store and several restaurants. Eat at The Ivy!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was beautifully appointed throughout with everything needed for our stay. The location is ideal, accessible to restaurants and stores as well as Petworth House, but also perfectly peaceful. Carole was great to deal with both before and during our stay. "Our stay was wonderful. The property is safe and clean. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with. The washing machine is very convenient. Lots of space to hang your clothes. The grounds are quiet and serene. We would love to stay here again someday."

"PROS: Clean, comfortable beds. Nice to have a full kitchen to cook and save money by not eating out as much. Washer & dryer combo was a must since we had a long vacation in the UK. Beautiful, large bathroom. Having a larger shower was a joy after being in much smaller ones in previous rentals. Wifi was fast. Enjoyed watching some favorite British shows on the TV. Quick 15 minute walk to the rail station was very convenient. CONS: The washer & dryer combo was very loud and vibrated the floor....

"Filthy dirty.Needed a deep clean .Bad odour as you entered the property. Kitchen oven and extractor fan need serious attention as full of grease and grime which smelt disgusting .Advertised as fully equipped kitchen but lacked items such as colander and cork screw. Glasses needed washing before we could use them. We could only use 2 of the 3bathrooms as the en-suite was full of mould and smelt disgusting. The window surrounds were covered with thick black mould."
