"We arrived to a place that we have heard about all of our lives with high expectations, and we were blown away by the fact that it exceeded those expectations. Close to a market with amazing bread and pastries. Amazing sunsets. The concierge, Caroline, facilitated all of our needs and had answers to our many questions. Ranitea and Jade were also very informative, helpful, friendly and prompt. We will stay here again! Most relaxing vacation ever!"

"Fortunately, driving instructions were very clear as it involved 1.5 km ascent, last leg on bumpy road, but once we entered the gate, wow! Villa was excellent, pool was great and deck has fabulous views of Pacific & Moorea. as usual, kitchen lacked gourmet equipment, but otherwise all was excellent. Owners were very helpful as well."

"Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Tahiti, Maison Taina is a true guest house gem, that encapsulates the essence of a tranquil family experience. From the moment we arrived, which was around 2am, we were greeted by Laurent and Tom and felt the warmth of Tahitian hospitality. Valerie, Laurent and Tom went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was special. The accommodations at Maison Taina are modern with understated elegance and comfort. One of the highlights of our stay was the culinary experience at Maison Taina. Tom made us a dinner showcasing the vibrant flavors of Tahitian cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It was the best meal we had on Tahiti! Perfectly grilled Mahi-mahi with a garlic and vanilla sauce and the best crème brulee we have ever had! Laurent made us breakfast with croissants and café au lait and eggs and fresh fruit and Valerie and Laurent talked with us about the local culture and the “ma’ohi spirit of Tahiti. In addition to its beautiful accommodations and delectable dining options, Maison Taina helped arrange a car rental for us, recommended beaches and best places to buy Tahitian pearls. The beauty of Tahiti combined with the unparalleled hospitality of the French owners, Valerie and Laurent, created a memorable holiday that will linger in our memories. "

"This hotel is probably one of the best Hiltons I have ever stayed in. Handy for the airport (just 10 minutes and $20 ride - no shuttle). Great pool, bar, etc, and whole lobby area is fantastic. Unfortunately it is not a destination hotel such as those in Bora Bora, but more a place to stay in whilst in transit. Not much to see or walk to unless you rent a car to explore further afield. However, top marks for Hilton to have such a great hotel with well trained staff, great service and such a beautiful facility. "
