Great hotel and fantastic staff. The local barbecue joint across the street from the resort was the best meal we had in all of Polynesia. If you go snorkeling around the bungalows watch out for the sea urchins...they are everywhere!

We loved the Hilton, the beach is amazing, the garden bungalow was comfortable and clean and the service was good. You get towels, snorkeling equipment, a kajak and a paddleboard included. I suggest you take a walk and ckeck out the tennis court and the fitness center, excellent facilities. We are amazed by Moorea and would definetely stay at the Hilton again.
We had 3 nights at Linareva which we enjoyed a lot. We had just been at the Hilton for a little more luxury, but enjoyed our stay on the West side of Moorea. The fares are great, we used the kitchenette to prepare meals, and it was nice to have our own private space. The owner's are very friendly and helpful, Roland was great for advice and help. I snorkeled off the pier, and the reef has a lot of fish, plus there are the reef and nurse sharks in the evening time! We had a car which helped to get around. Otherwise using the bikes and the kayaks was good fun. We took an ATV tour which we would recommend, it was a lot of fun and we saw a lot of the interior of the island. We ate at Coco d'Isle, Le Sunset, and Daniel's Pizza, and can recommend all of them. All up a great trip and we can recommend Linareva as a great place to stay. We are already planning our next trip to Tahiti!
Resort is large but very spread out, so you don't get the feeling of crowding. In fact while it was fully booked, you sometimes wondered where everyone was. All the staff from valets, reception, concierge & bar/dining areas are so friendly & helpful. We rented bikes (on site) for a couple of hours to tour small village 10 mins away. Took 4x4 ATV (Moorea Tours) for 3 1/2 hours & really enjoyed seeing the island from its high points & learning about it. My wife also swam with the on-site dolphins. It's expensive for 1/2 hour, but it's something she's always wanted to do & she thoroughly enjoyed it. There's snorkelling tours as well..we swam with staingrays & sharks.
The freshwater pool is beautiful along with a well maintained beach. Lots of choice for dining. We had continental breakfast included, but it ended up being an "American" breakfast, ie eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, in addition anything you could think of that you may want for breakfast, fruits, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, cereals, etc, etc.
We were not in a bungalow but in one of the main buildings - only 2 stories high, so very quaint. Our room looked over the pool, beach & dining areas...was fantastic to sit out on our balcony & enjoy the view.
Attended one of the 3 special events of the week which included Polynesian dances, music & fire throwing dancers.
All in all we had a super time!!
I had a great time relaxing at Kaveka. It is very beautiful there on the water of cooks bay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. The atmosphere is great!! There is a lot to do around close by too!!! I would stay again

Stayed at the Hotel hibiscus on 23 October 2012. Great family owned hotel, owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great food selection at the Sunset restaurant. We stayed in a bungalow with ocean view. Very relaxing and my husband and I wished we spent more time in Moorea island. If we do come back, it will be Moorea and will stay again at Hotel Hibiscus.
Stayed in one of the sea view bungalow. Was much better than I expected. Room was big enough, clean, own balcony which was right on the water. Room was private, although we were in the room closest to the restaurant therefore the deck was not so but it a very quiet little place so you do not have lots of people around anyway.
