"came for another wonderful trip to Orkney. Accommodation was good with plenty of room. Felt it could benefit from a 2nd toilet/bathroom. the rooms were very spacious. more wardrobe /hanging space would be good in twin rooms. The dishwasher and washing machine were both very clean as were the bedding, which was on comfortable beds. We were very pleased with this choice and would be happy to stay here again. Sadly, while we were there, muck spreading was in progress, however, this didn't impact...

"Very clean, modern and comfortable house. Very warm, light and spacious. Everything you need is provided including a lovely welcome basket of local produce with beer and wine. The house is a short walk from the town and equidistant from Kirkwall harbour and Scapa Beach, with both distilleries in walking distance. Sarah was available to answer any questions without being intrusive. We loved every minute of our stay, from the fabulous local food and drink to Neolithic sites, nature reserves and...

"Everything was as advertised and was terrific. The location is stunning. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The appliances did their jobs and the fireplace, bedding, and every other detail were all just right. Our only complaint is that we were not informed of what was clearly a scheduled power outage on our last morning which was inconvenient, to say the least."
