“Good hotel for Hongqiao airport or railway station”

Good hotel if you need to spend one night before flight or train from Hongqiao airport or train station. Clean, no smell. The bed is quite hard, but with additional blanket under is acceptable.

It's a gem of a place in a cool nieghbourhood. Get a room with windows facing the zoo : quiet and full of zoo sounds at dawn. The staff are obliging and their English is very adequate . Good place for a long stay , with kitchenettes that come in handy . No safes in rooms so be wary of valuables . Overall its a good place to stay and move around shanghai from.

“Ok for the price”

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was ok for the price. It has a bedroom and a bathroom and was relatively clean. Ideal if you don't use your room as only for sleeping and washing yourself. Otherwise, I would recommend not to use it.
