"The location is great being so close to the airport - although it’s not really walkable as there is a highway you need to go down to get to the airport. There is a local bus which stops right outside and takes you to both terminals which is convenient. The room was very nice with really modern furniture and fittings and amenities. They also give you complimentary coffee and tea and chocolate in your room as well as a small breakfast that is available very early for even the earliest morning flight out of Munich. "

"Great property located just 1 mile from main train station and S-Bahn stations. Central spot for getting to anywhere in Munich. Slightly older property but still clean, with great breakfast buffet every morning, and competent multi-lingual staff. Neighborhood around the hotel is OK, just slightly run down, but crime never entered our minds as München is well policed."

It is conveniently located right across the street from the train station and walkable to everything you want to see. The hotel is clean and it has the best breakfast service and food. "Beautiful property. Exceptional staff, especially Annabelle Weiss at reception . Always courteous and helpful. Rooms were very modern but a bit quirky. Light switches and outlets difficult to work at first. Excellent buffet breakfast and beautiful restaurant. Very convenient location right next to the central station and Ubahn station, however there is a fair amount of construction in the area and the area to the west of the hotel is a bit rundown, but you can avoid it easily as there is nothing to see in that direction. Easy walk to old town and pedestrian shopping areas. Overall,this is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Happy we chose THE SOFITEL."

"I've stayed in many hotels in Munich, near the train station and this one is the best- very comfortable, clean, great amenities and great location. The breakfast is top notch and so is the spa. They have the most amazing masseuse from Thailand, and she incredible. I'll definitely be staying here when I'm back in Munich. "
