The location is extremely convenient, close to the airport, 5 minutes to a supermarket and 5 minutes to a gorgeous beach. Our hosts were wonderful and answered any questions we might have had. "We stayed for 10 nights and enjoyed Antonio’s home in the Azores. He provided lots of information and answered any/all questions. The house gave us a feeling of traditional, rural Azorean countryside living - Complete with cows and a lovely little horse in the pastures beyond. "It’s a beautiful setting in the garden. The home is roomy and cozy, it has everything you need. It had a musty smell which is typical, I kept the windows open always which got rid of the smell. Windows have screens which is much appreciated! It is below another apartment so you do hear some footsteps and noise. This is why I didn’t give it full stars. You can sometimes hear dogs and loud cars in the distance but it’s not too bothersome."

"Great place to stay. Not crowded like Ponta Delgada. Is in a residential area, with a 2 minute walk to the shoreline. Nice area to walk along shore, a small ocean bay with a swimming within a 10 minute walk. Stayed on the second floor, they advertise you dont have a ocean view, but ocean was viewable as well a shore line to the west. Very clean, modern and quiet."
