"La casa de Lucinda està situada delante del mar, cuando abres la puerta allí lo tienes.. Esta muy bien equipada y Lucinda es muy amable, nos dejó un montón de cosas de comida como bienvenida. Además tiene una excelente disposición para ayudarte en lo que necesites"

"Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. Outdoor patio and barbecue we're a lovely place to end the day as well. I can't recommend this property more for a quiet place on...

"Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. Wunderbare Sitzecke mit Blick aufs Meer."

"We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals."

"This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is superbly situated, overlooking the town and the sea. It has all the faculties that you could need inside and it also has a very pleasant, shaded, outside space. It is only five minutes walk into the town, where there are a number of bars and cafes and a very good little shop. João kindly gave us a tour of the immediate area when we arrived, this turned out to very useful in finding our way around later on."

Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre die vielleicht zu zweit etwas unbequeme Matratze (persönliche Vorlieben können ja abweichen). Der Blick und die Terrasse sind wirklich toll! Parken vor dem Haus ist möglich, die Nachbarn sind sehr nett, Geschäfte, Bars etc. zwischen drei und 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir würden wiederkommen, auch weil die Gastgeber sehr herzlich waren."

The third room behind the house was closed and, when we found the key, what a surprise ! A very bad surprise ! It seems to be abandoned for several years. All inside was so wet, moldy and dirty. There were old and used sheets on the bed.... it was awfull ! The ground floor front bedroom's shower was dirty, we had to wash it to...

"The Azorean Cottage felt like home and well equipped in every way. Less than 5 minutes from the airport! It was spotless, and the communication with the host was excellent. Very relaxing and peaceful, I hope to be able to go back and book 3-4 weeks! "

"Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...
