"My partner and I stayed for two nights while exploring the central Highland and loved it! The property owner was very welcoming and gave us some historical background of the building which is really interesting. The hotel is situated up a hill which results in stunning glen views from the rooms and grounds. When exploring the grounds you may also stumble across ducks, hens and even peacocks, adding to the uniqueness of the property. The communal kitchen is well equipped, and again offers lovely views. There is also a pool table, swingset and lounge area that guests can use during the day. In addition to this hotels interesting history and picturesque views we also found it to be very peaceful. "

"Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while. Communication with the owner was first rate, who answered any questions we had quickly and diligently. I really cant recommend a stay at the Sluice Keepers Cottage enough. An added bonus for us was that we saw our first Otter and also several sightings of the amazing Ospreys. I never got tired of sitting on the seat outside the cottage viewing the Loch and all its wildlife. Do yourself a favour if your in need of a recharge. Travel North and stay here. Fantastic."

"We were a last minute book and checkin and it was seamless from beginning to end. Lovely front counter gent and the lady serving dinner on the eatery side was so kind and gentle with my special needs brother. Thank you again for a wonderful experience 🙏"

"Beautiful area, so peaceful and quiet. We saw a herd of deer pass by, red kites, owls and a sea eagle. As a pet owner I’m always worried about space for my dog, absolutely no worries here, as long as you keep your dog under control they have room to relax too ! Everything you need is supplied , loved the wood stove and the wee oven underneath made perfect pizza’s. Both Amanda and her partner, didn’t catch his name, sorry , both wonderful, thoughtful and helpful. On hand to help but at the same time left us to enjoy our stay, was great knowing they were near by ! Didn’t want to leave, we could have sat on that porch all day with no cares in the world. Highly recommend, if you get a chance to go, grab with both hands !!! Never mind the highland weather, great place to relax, unwind and watch nature go by ! Thank you both, we will be back x"
