“Not worth it.”

The swimming pool was so dirty it wasnt usable. Rooms very small. In a residential neighborhood full of trash laden streets and graffiti. Inconvenient location to city center and airport. Taxi to either is expensive due to distance. Hotel restaurant very expensive. Hotel not close to anything. Half mile walk to any store for cigs, soda, snacks, etc. Breakfast is same cold food buffet every day..yogurt, cereal, bread, crackers, salamis, cheese, pastries, and fruit. Laundry service is very expensive. Wi-fi is not free. No alarm clocks in rooms. No free tourist brochures available. Does offer private Mercedes 'limo' service for a fee. Rooms have small balconies but noisy outside. Air conditioning doesnt work very well. My toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. Bathtubs are small. No currency exchange service at hotel. My limo driver was EXCELLENT however. He made my stay more enjoyable, he was very informative, professional, and excellent driver.

Area recommendations
Try get as close to Vatican City as possible. Better hotels and more convenient than this one.
Other
Watch out for pickpockets on both the plane and in the city. A pickpocket tried to pick my pocket on the plane.

“Not impressed”

The hotel service is horrible, the staff at the bar were unpolite, italian human services doesnt exist. They are not friendly.

“A Good Hotel at a Modest Cost in a Suburban setting”

We chose this hotel for 4 reasons...it is business quality 4*; it has a very good pool; it is not expensive compared to similar hotels closer to Rome centre; the Metro is close by. What we found met or exceeded our expectations, the only quirky bit was catching the bus to and from the Metro, which took 5 minutes each way (the price covered in the cheap weekly Metro ticket. Staff were always friendly and helpful; the food was good - especially the breakfast; the pool was excellent - beautifully clean and quiet in the daytime; the aircon worked fine, the bathroom and shower were very good, our balcony looked over the pool, and the daily clean and fresh towels were great. Internet facilities were provided in reception (we did not test the room wi-fi); restaurant food was good but not cheap. Personally we enjoyed going on the buses as we normally do this to get to know the local population - same with the Metro (we never use taxis) - otherwise as a visitor you're just in an unrealistic bubble - but recognise that others may want something different. We enjoyed our stay, and that is the most important thing.

Area recommendations
Rome has a small centre with most of the historic buildings in easy reach of the Metro and walking. Our 2 best Restaurants were at 67 Urbana and Vicolo Rossini but there are also many options just off Piazza Popolo.

“Great for the price”

It was a little difficult to find. We drove our rental car there. Our GPS definitely came in handy. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large (we had the quad room) and comfortable. We only used it for an overnight before our flight. No complaints.

“Hotel Petra”

Ottima sistemazione, personale competente e cortese Posizione vicino alla fermata metro Anagnina che si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi e in auto. Camere confortevoli e pulizia ok Ottimo per soggiornarvi in un fine settimana.

“il solito buon trattamento”

se vado a Roma questo è il posto dove pernotto -parcheggio gratuito -20 minuti dal centro(auto) -affabilità -rapporto servizi/prezzo -piscina ecc.ecc.

“hotel tres tres loin des sites a visiter donc d'argent pour les transports, taxis trop chers”

Hotel tres tres loin des sites tourisques, en plus quand vous reservez votre sejour, ne pas prendre l'option transfert aeroport hotel car vous allez devoir déboursé un supplement de 30 euros x 2. Question restauration, il faut savoir que quand vous commandez un plat, attendez vous a recevoir que la viande ou le poisson car la garniture est payante. point positif, y a une piscine voila....

“Hotel Petra di Roma (Ciampino)”

Bellissimo Hotel ben curato e con un servizio ottimo, sicuramente comodo per chi e' di passaggio a roma, senza una macchina pero' non e' cosi' comodo da raggiungere.
