"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). Food is fab, especially the Sunday roast. We managed to get parking on each of the 3 days/nights we were there. The only thing to note is that the...

"Our room was very comfortable, spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is in a peaceful location surrounded by nature and was very quiet. All of the staff we interacted with were polite and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub for dinner. The only disappointment with our stay was the confusion over breakfast. In the room they advise a breakfast to go pack is available if you need to check out prior to 8am. As we needed to do that we asked the dinner staff how we organise that....

The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. "A lovely feeling as soon as you walk in the door. A very welcoming, comfortable and pristine house. Great, secure garden and a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from Burley village where you’ll find a lovely village store, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Great for forest walks.
